About Me

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here!

I’m Kirstin—a wife, mom of three, Registered Nurse, and birth doula serving women and families in Oconomowoc and the surrounding area.

My path to birth work began through nursing, where I spent years caring for infants, children, and their families in pediatric and neonatal intensive care. I loved being a part of those tender moments, but becoming a mother myself gave me an entirely new understanding of what women need during pregnancy, birth, and the transition into motherhood.

I came to understand that birth is so much more than a medical event. It is a deeply personal experience—one that can shape how a woman remembers the beginning of her motherhood for years to come. And while we can’t control every part of birth, having the right support can change the way we move through it.

As a doula, my role is to be a calm, steady presence beside you. To listen to what matters to you, help you feel informed and prepared, remind you of your options, and support you without judgement as you navigate your own unique birth experience.

I believe you already carry so much wisdom within you. My hope is not to tell you how to birth, but to help you feel confident enough to trust yourself, your body, and the choices you make along the way.

Motherhood has taught me that women deserve to be cared for, too. Beneath the appointments, decisions, preparations, and anticipation is a woman experiencing an enormous transition—physically, emotionally, and personally. You deserve support through all of it.

It would be an honor to walk alongside you as you prepare to meet you baby, move through birth, and step into motherhood.
